Delivery of newbuilding Capesize Bulk Carrier “KLKH Friendship”

TCC Group is delighted that the venture we started in October 2014 has achieved this enviable milestone yesterday as we took delivery of “KLKH Friendship”, a 182,200 M.T. Capesize newbuilding bulk carrier, from Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a vessel that we own in a joint venture with Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd (“K Line”) under the banner of “KAWATAI50” (previously known as “TK50”).

After being delivered from the shipyard yesterday, the vessel commenced a five (5) years’ time charter to Kline.

TCC would like to thank the management of Kline for their cooperation and support throughout the period of construction of the vessel and pray that the vessel would perform her intended services successfully and bring good fortune to Kline and TCC.
